Great Pacific Garbage Patch
The Pacific Ocean contains the Great Pacific Garbage Patch, the largest trash vortex in the world. Cold water from the south and warm water from the north collide to create a spinning gyre in the region pictured on the right. This gyre collects lots of trash, and most trash in the oceans is found in trash vortexes. ("Great Pacific")
